Disconnect merged addresses

To avoid duplicate addresses, people who appear more than once in the system are linked either manually or automatically.

Find out where you can view the merged persons and how you can undo the link.

Navigate to
> program planning
> Persons
> Tab: "Check merged entries"

... in the list of authors of the Abstract Book

Navigate to
> Abstracts & Reviews
> Manage authors
> Tab: "Check merged entries"

In the list of the "Check Links" view, linked addresses are displayed in one line.

• Check the last name, first name, title and city and the different variants of each. If they are two different people, proceed as follows:

• Click the link Open details to device in the last column of the line "Remove link"

• Scroll down in the new dialogue to the section ‘Remove addresses’

• Tick the checkbox next to the address you wish to remove and confirm your selection by clicking Remove address.
  

  

After confirmation, you will again have two entries. In this example, these would be:

• Dr S. Alexander from Australia

• Prof. S. Alexander from India
