Plan a lecture
You can use the Lecture program type to plan program items with invited contributions or speakers.
Open the "Program list view" or the "Program calendar view"
Select the "Add lecture" button
Enter the basic information for the talk and any additional properties.
Save: After saving, all tabs for adding a lecture are active and you can now plan "Speakers", "Moderators" and "Chair".

Create a lecture within a session
Open session
Open tab: "Scheduling"
Select the "Lecture" button
In the new view: Enter at least title of the talk.
Select:
"Save" if you want to assign a speaker in a next step
"Save as unplanned and close" if you want to complete the planning later.
Adding unscheduled lectures to a session
In the planning view of the session you will find any unscheduled lectures or events here:
the "Lectures | Events" tab on on the right hand side
under "Available lectures/events"
To schedule them, drag and drop them into the session schedule.
You can use the search box to search by title, number and speaker.
