Content page
You want to include pages with embedded files in the application menu. When the page is opened, the file opens directly in a separate window.
Recommendation:
Include files in pages of type Content (instead of type File) so that you can add a heading and descriptive text to the file, for example.

Navigate to
> Menu
> Pages
to view a list of existing pages.
Click the Add new
button to create a new page.
A dialogue for creating the new page will open:
1. Select page type
To create a page with an embedded file, select the "File" page type.
This page type allows you to upload a file from your local hard drive. When the page is opened in the application, the saved file will open, e.g. the abstract volume.
2. Name the page
Your entry in the "Name of the menu item" field will appear in the navigation menu of the application. The name should be
short (about 30 characters)
meaningful and unique
3. Upload file
Click the Select File
button and select the desired file from your hard drive.

Maximum file size: 5MB
4. Save changes
Click on
Add

— to go to the overview list.There you can adjust the position of the page in the menu.

Change or delete file
1. Change file:
To replace an existing PDF file, simply select a new file from your local hard drive and save the change. It is not necessary to delete the old PDF file beforehand.
2. Delete file:
If you would like to delete the file, tick the Delete checkbox and save the change.
Note:
All pages appear by default as a separate menu item in the menu bar of the app.
However, the pages can also be assigned as a subpage of any menu item page.

Add menu icon
If your new page is an independent menu item, add a menu icon that is displayed in the menu bar.

Optional: Set access permissions
If you only want to make your page available to logged-in users of the application, switch to the Permissions tab to assign permissions to the page.
