Preparations
Setup rooms, session types and topics
Before you start planning the program, insert your rooms and categories in the ‘Program planning’ > ‘Settings’ section.
Categories are tags that are generally used to group the program by either session types or session topics. You can define the categories individually, giving you the flexibility to plan any session format you like.

Plan your programme: list and calendar view
You can schedule your program in two different views:
1. Program list view
The program planning list view gives you an overview of all planned program items including the schedules presentations in sessions. This view also provides a number of search and filter functions.
2. Program calendar view
The program calendar view is where you create and edit the program in a graphical overview structured by rooms and times. Simply drag and drop to insert, move and schedule items here.

Persons
You can schedule persons with the following roles in your program:
Invited speakers
Chairs
Moderators
(Abstract) presenters
In an extended programme version, you have the option of managing the invitations of the persons in Smart Abstract. Pleace contact us.
Publishing your programme
As soon as you want to publish your programme, you can prepare this in the following ways:
Checking for duplicates
In the "Program planning > Persons > Link duplicates" area, you will see a list of persons whose profiles have a high degree of similarity and who you can merge.
Checking personnel conflicts
Under "Program planning > Conflicts", you can check for persons with possible conflicts, e.g. due to time overlaps or bottlenecks.
Numbering
Once you have completed the programme or no longer expect many changes, you can re-number you posters, presenations and sessions consecutively.
Printed program
To publish a printed program booklet or make a program available as a PDF download, export the program as a file.
Technology on site
The technology report is available for planning the required technology on site.
