Add a page with subpages

Menu items and page content

To avoid overloading the main menu with information, you can create pages with their own page menu. In your role as editor, you can insert as many subpages as you like in this page menu. You can group the subpages thematically using headings.

Note: In order to be able to assign subpages to a page menu, you must first have created the subpages as pages.
See: Creating a menu item/page with your own content

Step 1:  Convert page to subpage

Navigate to > Navigation > Pages

1. Create a new page or open an existing page to edit it.

See: Creating a menu item/page with your own content

2. Hide the subpage in the main menu.
Usually, subpages should not be accessed directly from the main menu, but only from the submenu of the page to which they have been assigned.
Mark the selection "Hide in navigation menu".

The submenu and all associated subpages are removed from the menu page.
The pages themselves remain in the page overview.

Note:
Each subpage can in turn contain its own submenus.
Submenus are only visible on the first level, i.e. on the page to which the submenu has been assigned.
We recommend that you do not set up more than two hierarchy levels.
