Allocation by topic

Automatic allocation

You would like that all abstracts of a topic are evaluated by all reviewers of this topic.

The prerequisite for the thematic assignment of abstracts is that all available reviewers have been assigned to a topic. This is done automatically when the reviewers are imported.

Navigate to
> Abstracts & Reviews
> Menage reviews
> Reviewers <-> Topics

Create assignment

In the view you will see an overview of the reviewers and their topics.

Below the overview you will find the following two options, which are linked to the saving process:

> Select "Enable automatic allocation of abstracts and topics to the reviewer"
> Confirm your selection with Save allocation.

Assignment despite bias

You will be notified that one or more abstracts have not been assigned due to bias. The notification will appear if the reviewer submitted the abstract.

If you want to assign the abstract despite the reviewer's bias, do the following:

Check the option "Assign even if the reviewer is the author of a paper".
